Findley’s Butcher Shop and Douglasville Retail Meat and Smokehouse are a full service butcher shop where customer service is always free and our pleasure. The owner David Widaski has 42 years of experience in the meat business and competition BBQ circuit. Recognized as the #1 Butcher Shop in Georgia 10 years in a row there is nothing protein wise we cannot get for you.
Our seafood and special orders program is a big hit with our customers. You simply order by Tuesday each week, we then call in the order get market price and call you back with the price and amount you will need, all special orders require a deposit. Be it caviar or catfish, fois gras, or chittlins, we can and will fill your orders.
All the products we carry are made in house. We feature an onsite smokehouse at our Acworth, Cartersville and Douglasville locations where our products are made. Jerky, Smoked Sausage, Snack Sticks, Bacon, Pastrami, Corned Beef, Summer Sausage, Smoked Pork Shoulders, Briskets, Hams, and Chicken, are all specialty items made in our smokehouse. All new customers get a tour of the back stage areas of our operation we have no secrets from our customers.
We have several heat and eat items that are very popular with our customers, Fully cooked Baby Back Ribs, Pork Shoulders, Chicken, Briskets, our very popular Twiced Baked Potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Gumbo, Brunswick Stew, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Cajun Crab Dip just to name a few.
